SB SUNBO, an eco-friendly energy solutions company, has been selected for the second round of Korea’s 2026 Innovation Premier 1000 program, jointly operated by 14 government ministries,
including the Financial Services Commission and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. including the Financial Services Commission and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
Innovation Premier 1000 is a government-wide initiative that connects industrial policy with financial support to identify and foster innovative companies with strong technological capabilities and growth potential.
SB SUNBO was recognized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups for its technological innovation and growth potential in the shipbuilding equipment and eco-friendly energy sectors.
Through the program, the company will be eligible for customized financial and non-financial support from policy institutions,
including the Korea Development Bank, Industrial Bank of Korea, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and Korea Growth Investment Corporation.
Building on its experience in LNG fuel supply systems and other eco-friendly marine and energy solutions, SB SUNBO continues to develop next-generation technologies in areas such as ammonia and carbon capture.
SB SUNBO will continue to drive technological innovation, contribute to the transition of the global shipbuilding and energy industries, and create sustainable value for its customers and local communities.
