Vice Chairman Park Doo-sun of SB Sunbo received the Busan Metropolitan City Mayor’s Commendation on April 2 at the Busan Citizens Hall during the “Group Wedding Sponsorship for People with Severe Disabilities and Merit Award Ceremony,” in recognition of his contributions to promoting the welfare of people with disabilities.
This honor reflects the company’s continued commitment to social contribution activities, including sponsoring group weddings for people with severe disabilities. The initiative has been highly regarded for providing meaningful wedding opportunities to couples who had postponed their ceremonies due to financial or physical constraints, while also helping them overcome social isolation. Now in its 37th year, the program has supported a total of 250 couples to date.
SB Sunbo will continue to carry out sharing and support initiatives for underprivileged communities, fostering mutual growth with the local community.
