The Busan Community Chest of Korea will hold a launch ceremony for its “Emergency Safety Service Dedicated Vehicle” on April 2 at the outdoor parking lot of Busan City Hall. The event will be attended by key figures including Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon, Lee Soo-tae, Chairman of Busan Community Chest, and Choi Geum-sik, Chairman of SB Sunbo, along with representatives from 17 participating agencies.

The Emergency Safety Service provides 24-hour monitoring for vulnerable groups, such as elderly living alone and people with severe disabilities, through ICT-based safety devices. Regular visits and consultations by emergency management personnel also help prevent solitary deaths and ensure overall household safety.

The introduction of dedicated vehicles is expected to accelerate emergency response across all 16 districts of Busan and improve on-site operational efficiency for equipment inspection and beneficiary visits.
