The morning lecture held on February 25 focused on the theme “The Power of Questions that Encourage Participation,” highlighting the importance of asking effective questions to promote communication and engagement within organizations at SB Sunbo Co., Ltd..

The session was led by Kyung-Hwa Kim, who explained that improving organizational performance requires not only hard skills, such as job-related expertise, but also soft skills, including leadership, collaboration, and communication.

She emphasized that creating an environment where employees feel comfortable sharing their ideas freely is a key factor in enhancing creativity and teamwork.

The lecture also introduced the concept of Psychological Safety, highlighting that an environment in which employees can freely express questions and opinions leads to a greater number of ideas and solutions.

In addition, the speaker noted that encouraging diverse perspectives through thoughtful questioning and fostering a culture of open communication are important responsibilities of leaders. Such an organizational culture, she explained, can ultimately drive corporate innovation and performance.

The February morning lecture series, held across three sessions, provided employees of SB Sunbo Co., Ltd. with new perspectives on their organization. The insights gained from the lectures are expected to translate into practical actions in the workplace, contributing to positive changes in the company’s organizational culture.
