SB SUNBO Co., Ltd. held a New Employee Workshop on November 21 from 7:40 AM to 6:00 PM at the Oryukdo Hall of Commodore Hotel.
The workshop was attended by 27 employees who joined the company within the past year, including new hires from Sunbo Angel Partners and Lighthouse. Nine executives also participated in the program, spending the day with the new employees.
The workshop officially began with participants reciting the company song and slogan. This was followed by a message from Chairman Geum-Sik Choi under the theme “A New Beginning After Integration.”
Next, Executive Director Jin-Seok Son delivered a lecture titled “The Great Transformation of the Shipbuilding Industry and Energy Trends.” The morning session concluded with an orientation and team-building mission led by instructor Jung-Sun Park.
Through the messages delivered by the Chairman and the Executive Director, participants reflected on the company’s direction for the future, while the team-building activities helped strengthen camaraderie among colleagues.
Following lunch, the afternoon session provided an opportunity for participants to gain a deeper understanding of SB SUNBO.
Senior Executives Kyung-Hyun Sung and Se-Young Lee introduced Sunbo Angel Partners and Lighthouse, respectively.
This was followed by a series of presentations, each lasting 40 minutes:
• President Cheong-Wook Kim presented “SUNBO as an Eco-Friendly Energy Company in Response to Global Green New Deal Policies.”

Through this workshop—covering the company’s history, culture, core businesses, and future direction—SB SUNBO hopes that its new employees will fully integrate into the SUNBO Family and grow into strong pillars supporting the company’s future.
