"Exciting Dice Rolling" Hanmaeum Competition Held

The Hanmaeum Competition, a representative communication event for Sunbo Family organized by the Organizational Culture Team, took place on June 24 at the Smart Lounge of Sunbo Industrial's Dadae 1 Plant. This year's event featured a dice-rolling contest, where participants rolled three dice, and the player with the highest total score won. Each team selected one player to compete in a tournament format. A total of 16 players participated, and in the end, Hwang Jin-soo from the General Affairs Team claimed the championship. The winner received a prize of 50,000 KRW for their department.

On June 12 and 19, Sunbo Industries and Sunbo Unitech held morning lectures on gratitude sharing and management in the training room and company cafeteria. The lectures, themed "Changing the Frame of My Heart through Mind Coaching," were conducted by Park Geun-ah, a speaker from the Busan Chamber of Commerce. Participants explored methods of increasing positive energy, discussing values and priorities related to happiness, and the efforts needed to achieve it. Park covered topics including: assessing personal happiness, the relationship between positive psychology and happiness, shifting perspectives on situations, and finding gratitude in uncomfortable work circumstances. She also shared examples of successful domestic companies that have visibly increased employee performance through the practice of gratitude management. Sunbo is committed to fostering a healthy workplace culture through regular expressions of gratitude and praise, aiming to promote a culture of love and sharing through family-friendly management.

Sunbo Family conducted departmental workshops in the first half of the year to enhance inter-departmental communication and foster closer relationships among colleagues. On April 12, the H.S.E teams from Sunbo Unitech’s Daebul Plant and Sunbo Hightech shared a lunch to facilitate communication. The teams discussed ways to improve mutual communication, analyzed colleagues' personalities, and addressed perspectives and areas for improvement necessary for mutual understanding. Through this, they aimed to cultivate a unified spirit within the H.S.E teams and agreed to work together to respect and consider individual traits while enhancing areas for improvement. In May, Sunbo Industrial's Management Support Department and Material Procurement Team, along with Sunbo Peace, held their own workshops. On May 24, Vice President Seo Jae-wook and staff from the Management Support Department visited Sunbo Unitech’s Daebul Plant and Sunbo Hightech for an overnight trip, where they listened to suggestions from each plant and enjoyed a barbecue party for relaxed interaction. The Material Procurement Team went on a caravan camping trip to Jodo in Masan from May 3 for two days to promote camaraderie while brainstorming ideas for improving material receipt rates and cost reduction strategies. Sunbo Peace spent two days at a pension on Yokji Island from May 11, discussing quality issues and countermeasures. The Design Team 1 of Sunbo Industries engaged in recreational and sports activities at a pension in Geochang on May 30, sharing insights on achieving flawless designs, cost reduction strategies, and improving work processes. Workshops for the second half of the year are currently underway. On June 7, Sunbo Industrial’s Sales Team 1 enjoyed a beach tour in Busan before discussing plans for upcoming exhibitions, projects, and future business strategies. Sunbo mandates at least one departmental workshop per year, providing financial support to encourage enhanced communication among employees.
