Sunbo Unitech Co.Ltd. completed FAT(Factory Acceptance Test) accomplished from Oct 27 to Oct 31 for the HN.2448 Compressor PKG which had been ordered by Burckhardt Compression company.  And our company successfully delivered it to Samwoo Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.(DSSW) on Nov 11.  

Sunbo Unitech Co.Ltd. completed FAT(Factory Acceptance Test) accomplished from Sep 20 to Sep 22 for the HN.2452 Compressor PKG which had been ordered by Burckhardt Compression company.  And our company successfully delivered it to Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd.(DSME) on November 17.  

  The 22 members Society of Naval Architects of Japan visited to Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd. on Nov 15. They took a factory tour starting from Dadae 1and went to  Dadae 2, Gupyeong1 and Gupyeong factory so that they actually could see LNG COMPRESSOR SKID, TANK TOP UNIT, PACKAGE UNIT and so on.   They felt a sense of frustration at that they couldn’t stay longer because of their schedule.   

Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd. are planning to complete to process FAT(Factory Acceptance Test) from Oct 17 to Oct 19 for HN.2448 Compressor PKG which was ordered by Burckhardt Compression company, and then our company will deliver it to Samwoo Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. on Nov 10.   

Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd. are planning to complete to process FAT(Factory Acceptance Test) from Oct 17 to Oct 19 for HN.2447 Compressor PKG which had been ordered by Burckhardt Compression company, and then our company will deliver it to Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. (DSME) on Nov 2.  

Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd. participated in OFFSHORE KOREA 2016 from  Oct 19  to Oct 21 at BEXCO in Busan. This exibition is held every other year and it aims to show various various equipment models, shipbuilding equipments and engineering services, and so on. Many VIPSs visited our company's booth since our booth is included in an opening shedule of OFFSHORE KOREA 2016, and when many reporters were covering an operning ceremony, Sunbo Angel Partner's Co., Ltd.'s CEO, Youngchan, Lee led a presentation for the opening. Also, he empathised on Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd.'s introduction and business field along with a modularization for on/offshore plants and an ECO ship business. Sunbo Industries Company could display our  potential energy by successfully introducing our new products based on shipbuiing and on/offshore research and increase marketing effectiveness owing to have a chance to  build  a long-term trust with our customers by our participatioin in this exhibition.       

Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd is expecting to successfully ship N2856 Gas Valve Enclosure from its Dadae 1 factory after the manufacture completion.  This facility is necessary for liquefying LNG in which temperature  -180 degree  by heat that is installed in FSRU(Floating/Storage/Regasification/Unit) as a boilder.Using seawater in a temperature of 30 degree is one of the common methods to liquefy LNG and using warm ocean water for this process when LNG Carrier is in service near the equator, while a regas boilder should be activated to heat seawater when the carrier is service around cold areas such as Abtarctica. The regas boilder is operated by either oil or gas.  [What is a Gas Valve Enclosure?]   A gas valce enclosure is fuel for a regas boilder, and when is used by  BOG(Boil-OffGas), it its required to be set up a front part of a regas boilder for the measurements of a temperation of  supplied gas, gas pressure  and gas consumption.   

Sunbo Unitech Co, Ltd. expected to strengthen partnership with DSME            -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunbo Unitech Co, Ltd. has completed a test operation of Partial Re-liquefaction System (PRS, Partial Re-liquefaction System) on March 27 2014, and the PRS successfully satisfied performance requirements. The test operation successfully processed at Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd’s Dadae 2ND factory located in Dadae-dong, Pusan, South Korea. About 50 people including Ko Youngryeol(DSME’s vice-president), Um Hangseop(Head of Business Planning) and other DSME’s employees and Sunbo Industris Co., Ltd. and Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd.’s employees along with domestic and foreign shipowners and major people for ship’s classification attended the test. The PRS is a special facility invented by DSME in South Korea and that is to re-liquefy vaporized gas and return it to containment system. LNG carrier is carrying natural gas in liquid but some gas can be wasted when it is converted from the gas into a liquid. Therefore, it is necessary to re-liquefy the vaporized gas and return it to containment system. While doing this, PRS uses the vaporized gas itself as a refrigerant not using another refrigerant by using natural boil off gas so it is capable of drastically saving ship maintenance and operational costs.   This system was scheduled to be featured on LNG carriers to be the world’s first LNG carriers equipped with ME-GI engine(engine electronically controlled for injecting gas) awarded to Daewoo by Teekay of Canada. Many shipowenrs in the world responded very positively owing to cutting ship maintenance and operational costs. DSME requested Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd to manufacture the prototype of PRS system for research and development since DSME had wanted to show the PRS during a period of “Gastech 2014”. Our company participated in all processes including designing, modeling, drawing and manufacturing, and we proved a successful re-liquidation of gas. It took only one month for us to complete the whole process from manufacturing the PRS and the test since our employees working in the departments including our designing team, sales team, production team, procurement team and so on joined forces to successfully finish the test. As a result of manufacturing and completing the test, our employees could show Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd.’s reserved strength.  

Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. was attending 2nd APGC(Asia Pacific Gas Conference 2016), Gas related Exhibition, in Daegu, Exco from 4th to 6th of Oct. Our company exhibited our LNG FUEL GAS SUPPLY SYSTEM and promoted it to our potential buyer.  

Petronas Project, The remainder of 7 blocks. Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd has successfully delivered 11J(230TON) and 31J(281TON) to the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. (DSME) shipyard in Okpo, South Korea on Oct 7 2014. They are the biggest size among 9 blocks of a topside pipe rack to manufacture for Petronas company which is Malaysian government enterprise. The both blocks 11J(230TON) and 31J(281TON) were arrived at DSME and they would be assembled to a topside of Petronas FLNG(Floating LNG). Also the remainder of 7 blocks has been planned to be delivered until September 2014. Sunbo Unitech Co. Ltd. finished to have launching ceremony for the Petronas FLNG in April 2016, and the vessel measures 365 m (1,198 ft) in length, 60 m (197 ft) in width, and 33 m (108 ft) in height. It is defined as a supersized gas production facility. The weight of the upper structure is already 40,000 tons, and this block was planned to be assembled according to a production planning in Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd and would be ready to be shipped for a delivery in Sep 2015.  This FLNG would be run in the Pacific Northwest where near the Kanwot gas field in the Pacific Northwest, in order to produce LNG gas. This facility has a processing capacity of 1.2 million metric tons of LNG per year and it is expected for Sunbo Unitech Co,Ltd. would have a title as the first company in the world which manufacture this facility in actual once this facility is properly working to produce LNG. Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd(Gupyong 1st factory) is available to produce this kind of a big sized facility because of its size of the workplace, the facility and the pier so we use the place of business for making units those are 1,000 tons in weight.  Sunbo Unitech company’s employyes went through so many ups and downs before the first delivery since there had some confusion with the date of delivery and a difficulty to received materials for the structure because the design of a main frame was changed so many times.However, Sunbo Unitech Co, Ltd started the construction for “Rush Work” as of Sep 1 2014 after getting a fixed delivery date in October so that we could successfully deliver the 11J and 31J without any problems. That was a result of that our 130 employees had worked night and day for Petronas Project. Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd. could stamp our company’s name and productivity on our prospective clients owing to our successful delivery of the block for Petronas Project. Therefore, Sunbo Unitech Co., Ltd gained a foothold to produce items such as a floating LNG facility for offshore projects compared to other competitors. ​ 

Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd successfully won a DSME's contract for 10 PRSs(PRS: Partial Re-liquefaction System) in 2015 . Our company completed to manufacture the first PRS for LNG Carrier that had been made for 1 year, and we were ready to deliver it on July 2016.  We had tested the system using our PRS test equipment which is located in Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd,'s Dadae 2nd factory for a performance test, and we made a hit with our customers by an above-average result of the performance test. Sunbo Unitech Co, Ltd will raise our own competitiveness in PRS and FGSS markets by developing a new hi-tech.        

 Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd successfully Delivered HN.2450 Compressor PKG to Burckhardt Compression Company on Sep 27 , and it was completed on Sep 28.   

Sunbo Industries Co, Ltd.'s 3 employees and  Busan Economic Promotion Agency's university student team for our company's public relations exercise participate in volunteering to serve meals to senior citizens at Saha-gu community center on Sep 27. This program has been arranged by our compnay as a regular voluntary activity for our coporate social contribution. The all members prepared for serving, serving meals and helping the senior citiziens to clean their trays.  Also, we offered rice cakes we had prepared as a dessert and donate 500 USD to the center for their further management of this nonprofit busieness. Sunbo Industries has been doing this voluntary activity in a long term. And our employees, Sunbo family expressed their feeling after the participation like this,  "We hope the more employees and people can have this kind of chance to help the people in need and it was really valuable time for us".  That's why our company has continued this dontation and voluntary activity every month and we try to expand our CSR activity more and more in order to benefit the social welfare. 

The honorary Indian Consulate General, Jung Deokmin  visited Sunbo Industries Co.,LTD on Sep 19   Plant sales department has arranged this visiting by making them have Sunbo Industries's factory tour, understanding our products and main issues at the PR room located in the main offce. Then, they started to discuss the shipbuiliding business between South Korea and India followed by Sunbo Group introduction.  

Sunbo Unitech Co,.Ltd. and Sunbo Angel Partners Co,Ltd. made an agreement with UNIST(Ulsan Natoinal Institue of Science and Technology) on Sep 2.  Sunbo group decided to established a technology holding company and attract investors for vitalization of starting venture enterprise in the southeastern region. The three organizations  plan to make efforts to develop new growth power for local firms, to make economic development and to promote economic cooperation together. Sunbo Unitech Co.'s CEO, Choi Keumsik said, " It means a lot for us to become a partner such Unist which is one of the competitive university in terms of a global level of science and technology".  And the president of Unist said, " I believe that it is only the start of our journey and this MOU is very well timed for our government's polilcies for "creative economy" and an activatoin for business start-ups. We will focus on all busienss for exporting abroad and we couldn't be happier if Sunbo group worked with us to the end".  Sunbo Angel PartnersmCo.Ltd. has opened an office inside Unist and offer various counselling service such as mentoring with experts, support for bright ideas and financial support.
