​​Seven foreign students attending Mokpo National University entered the Department of Advanced Engineering. Completed the winter autonomous field training semester course at SUNBO Unitech.  Executives and employees attended the graduation ceremony and special luncheon held at each factory on February 26th and 27th to congratulate the foreign students who successfully completed the training course. SUNBO Industries Idayat · Paja · City, SUNBO Unitech Students Angelo , Wiracuna , Isman, and Hakim completed training on topics such as marine industry forecasting and eco-friendly energy for two months starting in January. In addition, based on the course content, we focused on strengthening capabilities through weekly presentations and feedback processes with executives and employees.  The field practicum semester system implemented by domestic universities is a practical curriculum program in which students perform field education and practice at industry-academic cooperation organizations and companies and are given credits.​ 

​​​​SUNBO Family held a group mentoring ceremony on February 23 and announced the start of full-scale activities.  The ceremony consisted of ▲introduction of mentoring goals and activities, ▲introduction of mentors and mentees and announcement of commitments, ▲ encouragement speech by Vice President Park Doo-seon of the presentation family, and ▲luncheon and networking. SUNBO Group Mentoring is a program in which experienced and knowledgeable mentors (senior executives and employees) provide a variety of support to mentees (employees) to improve their skills and discover their potential.  There are three mentor groups formed this time (SUNBO Industries 2, SUNBO Unitech) Daebul Factory 1, total of 22 people), the activity period is 3 months from March. An activity fee of 150,000 won per person is provided, and mentors educate mentees on company culture, management vision, workplace etiquette, and basic rules. In addition, free activities are guaranteed according to individual preferences, such as accompanying cultural experiences, meals, meetings, and hobbies. ​​Sangdo Kim CEO of SUNBO Hitech and SUNBO Unitech In commemoration of the new factory, the CEO of Daebul Factory delivered 30 million won in development funds to Mokpo National University for regional development.  Kim and executives of SUNBO Hitech visited Mokpo National University and delivered development funds, urging them to continue to work on nurturing industry-academia talents and strengthening marine industry education. SUNBO Unitech was established last year to expand Sunga’s business. Daebul Factory is focusing on regional development and securing excellent technical manpower through close education in connection with universities.​ 

​​ On February 16, officials from Dong-A University's College of Engineering visited SUNBO Industrial's headquarters and shared plans to strengthen industry-academia cooperation.   Sangmok Jang of the College of Engineering, Professor Byeongjun Shin of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and Professor Jeonggyu Lee of the Department of Chemical Engineering visited the factory this morning and participated in a field trip and a meeting with executives. The faculty identified the points of contact between the new business areas of interest and the on-campus research areas and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation. In addition, he introduced the status of ongoing research and innovative technologies and expressed his will to link business with SUNBO. In addition, they shared a consensus on employment trends and the need to connect excellent graduates with employment, and exchanged opinions on specific action plans. ​​​SUNBO Industries held a safety pledge ceremony on the afternoon of February 26 to raise on-site safety awareness.  At the pledge ceremony held during the 2nd partner council meeting in 2024, SUNBO Family Vice Chairman Park Doo-seon (SUNBO Industries Safety and Health Management Manager), HSE team, general affairs team, and management supervisors of directly managed and partner companies attended and strengthened their resolve to comply with safety rules.  Each production department read a safety pledge consisting of 14 rules and signed it with all members, pledging to work safely. ​​SUNBO Industries achieved sales of 100 billion won and was selected as a ' 100 billion venture company ' in the Busan region on January 16.  The Busan Small and Medium Venture Business Administration visited the headquarters of SUNBO Industries on this day and presented the 100 billion venture company trophy to congratulate the company on achieving sales of 100 billion won (as of 2022) . A 100 billion venture company refers to a company that has exceeded 100 billion won in sales as of the end of the year among companies that have been confirmed as a venture more than once since the implementation of the 'Venture Confirmation System in 1998'. ​​On January 31, students at Mokpo National Maritime University entered the Advanced Engineering Department. ​​ SUNBO Industries Co., Ltd. Vice Chairman SUNBO Family ordered active activities from the HSE team and management supervisors to create a safe and comfortable workplace.   Employees of SUNBO Industrial and SUNBO Unitech participated in a blood donation campaign by visiting a love-themed blood donation bus at each factory on February 1st.   Divided into morning and afternoon sessions, the campaign saw 32 SUNBO Family members contributing warmth to the local community. Kim Gyu-min, an employee of SUNBO Unitech (Design Team 6), expressed, "I feel proud knowing that it will be delivered to those in need of blood. I hope it is used in necessary places," and added, "I want to continue helping our needy neighbors through regular blood donations."   Moon Jae-kyung, a senior at SUNBO Industries (Quality Management Team 1), mentioned, "I donated blood for the third time in 11 years, having previously donated during high school and military service," and stated, "Despite being in good health, I haven't donated blood frequently. Through this opportunity, I want to help many people by donating blood more often."​ ​

​​ SUNBO Family participated in the Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign conducted by Busan Fruit of Love and delivered KRW 9,081,230 in donations voluntarily collected by executives and employees.  At the donation ceremony held at the Fruit of Love in Busan on January 24, SUNBO Industries Co. , on behalf of the executives and employees of the SUNBO Family, Vice President Seo Jae- wook and senior Kim Ja-young (general affairs team) attended.  SUNBO Family raised the fund by collecting KRW 802,322 in voluntary donations from the use of the smart lounge coffee machine , KRW 3,898,500 in profits from sales at the in-house Carrot Market, a smoking cessation fund, and donations from losers in the body fat loss king contest. The donations will be used for emergency medical expenses for children with incurable diseases and low-income vulnerable groups in Busan through the Busan Fruit of Love . As part of the recently introduced Fruit of Love sponsorship system, we also signed up for ' Good Workplace ' , a method in which company executives and employees regularly participate in sharing.  Seo Jae-wook said , “I hope that the donations raised by our executives and employees will be delivered to our neighbors in need and put to meaningful use,” and added, “We will continue to actively work to create a family for the vulnerable in the community .” Park Seon-wook , Secretary General of Busan Fruit of Love , responded , “We are sincerely grateful for the valuable donations prepared by our executives and employees,” and added, “We will deliver them to our neighbors in need with our precious hearts.”​ 

​​ On January 31, SUNBO Industries held a management supervisor designation ceremony at the partner company and labor-management council.  On this day The 18 management supervisors of SUNBO Industrial’s direct and partner companies are Doo-seon Park He received a certificate of designation from Vice Chairman SUNBO Family and expressed his commitment to protecting site safety. A management supervisor is a position appointed in accordance with Article 16 (Management Supervisor) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act to protect the safety and health of workers at workplaces with five or more employees. It can be said that managers are at the forefront of workplace safety. Supervisors perform tasks such as inspecting machinery and equipment, checking for abnormalities, and inspecting and guiding workers to wear work clothes and protective gear . Designated supervisors plan to increase their job expertise through training scheduled for the second half of the year. ​​​​SUNBO Family held the 2023 Excellent Club Awards Ceremony on January 30 and praised the achievements of the company's excellent clubs.  On this day, the excellent club award went to 1st place Futsal Club (Chairman Byeong-cheol Min), 2nd place Table Tennis Club (Chairman Ahn Jung-bin ), and 3rd place Screen Golf Club (Chairman Jeong Ho-kyung). Prize money of 500,000 won, 300,000 won, and 200,000 won were paid respectively. SUNBO Family Vice President Park Doo-seon had lunch with executives and employees of the Excellence Club, heard about their future activity plans, and expressed support. Prior to presenting the awards, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted on in-house clubs, taking into account the number of members, frequency and diversity of activities, and the status of uploads of activity details to the in-house bulletin board.​ 

​​​​SUNBO Sends Unique Lunar New Year Gifts to Procurement and Design Partners.  Executives and employees visited partner companies to greet the new year and delivered 50 salt gift sets and 350 red ginseng sets and expressed gratitude for their hard work. In addition, he requested that we continue to strengthen our partnership with the SUNBO Family based on the values of trust and coexistence and overcome internal and external crises together.​ 

​On the morning of January 17th and 24th, RPA computer training was held at the SUNBO Industries and SUNBO Unitech training centers.  On this day was led by Kim Seong-won, a senior researcher at Appdo Co., Ltd., who introduced RPA, a work process automation robot. RPA is an automation program that can be applied to simple repetitive tasks such as data processing and collection, and data entry. By reducing the burden of routine and repetitive tasks, we are helping executives and employees devote time and capabilities to more important tasks.​  ​

​​​SUNBO Industres has created a new outdoor garden on the rooftop of its headquarters where employees can relax.  As a result, the rooftop idle space, which remained vacant except for the wooden deck and smoking area, was transformed into a pleasant green space.  The floor of the SUNBO was painted and decorated with the SUNBO alphabet (SUNBO) planted with artificial grass. On one side, there is a circular plant-shaped bench, a pull-up bar and Exercise facilities such as push-up bars , bench presses, and parallel bars were placed so that families could easily warm up or relax during break times.  Overlooking Dadaepo Beach, Sunbo Industries' Daedae-1 Plant's rooftop outdoor garden is expected to enhance SunboFamily's relaxation satisfaction with its expansive ocean view and refreshing air.​ 

​​​​​​The New Year's Day of Encouragement Greetings was held from 6:50 to 7:30 a.m. on January 2nd, the first working day of the new year.  SUNBO Family started the day with warm encouragement and well-wishes as we welcomed the first week of Gapjin Year, which symbolizes new beginnings, fertility, and growth. Around the end of the year and the New Year, relatively warm weather exceeding zero continued, and executives and employees straightened their hunched shoulders and greeted each other with bright smiles.  The morning greeting, a total of 24 executives from each corporation, including SUNBO Family Chairman Keum-sik Choi, Vice Chairman Park Doo-seon , and Vice Presidents Kim Nam-soo and Seo Jae-wook , stood side by side at the entrance of each factory to greet employees.  we hope that 2024 will be a year of leap forward and growth with the SUNBO Family working together as one .​
