On July 12, Seonbo held its 2024 first-half company-wide business performance review meeting at the Busan Industrial-Academic Convergence Center.
The meeting, attended by over 80 executives and managers from four affiliates (SUNBO INDUSTRIES, SUNBO UNITECH, SUNBO HITECH, and SUNBO PEACE), commenced at 9:30 a.m. and lasted approximately eight hours. The event began with a company anthem recital, followed by an opening speech from SUNBO Family Chairman Choi Keum-sik, who emphasized the importance of producing differentiated, premium modules to enhance product competitiveness and achieve revenue growth. He pledged to strengthen employee compensation based on performance and create a supportive, family-like working environment with excellent welfare benefits.
The first presentation focused on the company’s long-term growth strategy, “LET’S GO 2025”, with each team outlining key initiatives, including:
- Premium Module Differentiation
- Accelerating Growth of Eco-Friendly LNG Fuel Gas Supply Systems (FGSS)
- Detailed Implementation of Sustainable Management through Value Sharing
Subsequent reports covered cost reduction achievements, updates on environmental, safety, and health (HSE) management, and performance reviews for the sales and production divisions (Industrial and Unitech).
Following a group lunch and commemorative photo session, presentations resumed with reports from the production, design, and quality divisions, as well as updates from materials procurement, management support, business planning, IT, and commissioning teams.
During the closing assessment, SUNBO HiGHTECH CEO Kim Sang-do highlighted five key initiatives:
- Establishing a safe, bright, and clean factory environment
- Meticulous project preparation and flawless execution
- Strengthening R&D for future growth
- Securing a clear competitive advantage through TOTAL competitiveness
- Embedding Seonbo’s work systems and corporate culture
He urged the SUNBO Family to focus on strict project planning, meeting deadlines, and fostering strong teamwork. Vice Chairman Park Du-seon and Seonbo Unitech CEO Kim Cheong-uk emphasized the need for organizational collaboration to drive work process innovation, digitization, and productivity optimization. They also stressed enhancing safety management across all Seonbo sites and strengthening partnerships with external collaborators.
