MHI Cooperation Union (ひこばえ会) including Mr. Hakuda(department head) visited our head office on July 15 in the morning.Our CEO, Choi, Keum-sik welcomed the guests and we started to inroducded our Sunbo Group to them. And then, they visited our Dadae 1 and 2 factories ,and Gupyeung 1 and 2 factories taking the time for a Q&A session.

Mr. Mitsuo Rikitake(a manager of NAMURA Shipbuilding Yard in Japan), Mr. Takahiro Yamabe, Kim, Seung-eui(CEO) ,and Lee, Jung-tae, (head of department) visited our head office on July 15. Our CEO welcomed them in the CEO lounge of our PR room. Park, Ki-duk who is a section chief of our shipbuilding business team introduced our company to them and they vistited Dadae 1 and 2 factories and Gupyeung 1 and 2 factories checking out a process of making our company's units. They showed interest in the units and they could have a Q&A session.

HRD team implemented "ISO 9001/14001 training" as a secondatry training on July 16 for 2015 recusion so about 25 employees completed this training , and their educational satisfaction was 4.09 out of 5 points. HRD team will actively accept the trainees' opinions to plan for a similar training in the future based on the results of the evaluation.

Sagong, Un-gon assumed the office of Taking office as a vice-president “~will make an effort to seek solutions to ovecome the crisis in shipbuilding industiry based on my experience." Sagong, Un-gon, the new vice president has been an old hand in shipbuilding industry as the one who knows from machinery design, sales to many other parts ,and he assumed the office of Taking office as a vice-president as of July 4. He had become an executive at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. after working for 35 years and he also served as a director of techique center of DSEC Co.,Ltd. for 3 years. After resigning, he started for his new post as our vice president in orde to help Sunbo Group which has been a growing company in shipbuilding industry since he has been a special bond with our CEO, Choi, Keum-sik. The vice president appreciated Sunbo Group' true worth acknowledging that Sunbo Industry Company, Ltd. invented a new system which is called as "Unit" by designing and developing as the first company in the world and it has been playing a leading role especially in Korean shipbuilding industry. Additionally, it has executive abilty to develope Korean shipbuilding industry. In additon, he highly appreciated its merits of its constant efforts that Sunbo Group has invested for the future developing innocative technology in many fileds. Finally, he showed his love about these kind of Sunbo Group's challenges since he believes that the challege would be the driving force behind its develpment for the future of Sunbo Group. Expectations are growing that there will be more changes and innovations to come owing to him. And we also expects that our company and his activities can create a synergy effect so that we can prepared for a springboard for Sunbo Group's another big jump.

ISO 9001/14001 training was conducted for 2015 revisons as the first class at a rooftop training room at 8 a.p in a rooftop training room for 8 hours, and the key men in the QC, the production, and the HSE teams those are totally 26 employees attended this class. And our HRD team will host the second class on July 16(Sat.) with the same content for other trainees. Busan Human Resources Development Institute of Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized this class with our company in order to offer a customized learning especially for only our employees ,and our HRD team will consider to process more training which would be necessary for our employees with this organization.

Our company held an event in celebration of Sunbo Group's the 30th Anniversary on July 1.This event began with reading resolution aloud by Sunbo Industry Co., Ltd.'s employees followed by an awards ceremony. The awards ceremony was held for Cooperation Company's Outstanding Staff Award, Chamber of Commerce's CEO Award, Small and Medium Business Corporation Award, Administrator Award, Chamber of Commerce's Chairman of the board Award, Outstanding Staff Award and then our CEO gave a speech to celebrate Sunbo Group's 30th anniversary. And all attendees including Sunbo Group's employees shouted the 10 slogans in unison together.Our CEO, Choi, Geum-sik commented as below, " We should succeed our 'PLUS2020' project in order to make a springboard for another Sunbo Group's big jump by making everyone jump on the bandwagon so that we can overcome the faced crisis of shipbuilding industry. And we have to improve the future of our company by ourselves without any dropouts by tideing over a difficult situation working in unison like we have made something out of nothing before".And our CEO and board of directors finalised the anniversary by cutting a cake assuring our company's development.

Sunbo Group initiated 'PI Process' as of March 15 in 2016 in order to improve performance, to increase a quality of our products and services, and to minimized unnecessary procedures for working. The first kick-off meeting was conducted on March 15 for an initiation of PI Process, and we could designate key members who were supposed to work as TFT. The 30 employees who selected for the members were mainly a deputy head of department and a head of department. TFT was finalised with a head of department, Kim tae-ho, a head of deaprtment , Lee dong-jun, a head of department, Park Moon-yeom, a deputy head of department, Kim Gab-jun, a deputy head of department , Yeo tae-woong, a deputy head of department , Un Yong-nam, a section chief, Hwang ji-suk, a section chief,Kim tae-hyun, and a section chief, Jung Hyun-woo. This kick-off meeting was prepared for starting a standardization work which is called as 'PI Process' in our company and the key members gather twice a week for three months and they mainly discuss how to standardize all processes for each work and promote our company's development . This PI Process project has been planned by business planning team of Sunbo Industry Co.,Ltd. before its beginning of a standardization work. This team will function to lead a standardization work by the TFT members regarding not only the relative work in each department about their regulation, standards, policies, and forms but also an unnecessary process related to each process. Our company expects that this kind of the process will save more time and cost to produce the same result compared to the processes in our previous working environment of each department. Once every new process is adjusted to each department , we will try to apply this process for our cooperative firsms as well in order to make a standardization. After the 1st kickoff meeting the 2nd meeting those aimed to go through approval process, ' materials ordering and warehousing management system',‘Advances for materials and warehousing management, ‘suppliers ordering and warehousing management system', 'simplication of working system' , and 'coperative firms vertical model' were confirmed as the developed new processes. Our CEO, Chio keum-sik will add 5 more items to the confirmed PI Porcesses so totally 9 issues and 14 processes will be passed by our CEO and top management. And the appoved processes will be tested for about 1 month until May 4 and an actual initation will be applied for all subsidary companies according to a report of the pilot test.

Sunbo Angel Partners Co.,Ltd. participated in a private equity fund with another accelators, 'K-Bridge' Co with 'K-Bridge 1st startup association of investment' and a startup accelator, 'Primer' Co. to deveop one startup companty that is called as "Rengo"and dose business in same-day resrvation service for renting a car. 'Rengo' Co. provides a o2o service for renting a car by delivering a car of which reservation is cancelled or not completed with more discounted prices than the original ones for its customers in Pusan, Gimhae and Yangsan. The customers can select a car out of 30 different kinds of cars ranging from Ray to Bentz on discounted price and they can receive the car after a reservation with a free delivery service to any place where they want to use. 'Rengo' Co. will more focus on developing a conveniene of making a reservation in their customers' shoes and it aims to expand the business size by covering more areas such as Seoul, Jeju and the service will be vaild nationwide in South Korea within this year.

Korea Southern Power Co. discussed techinical cooperation with our company on June 1 Lee, Geun-tak(technical manager of Korean Southern Power Co.) and the inspection team of Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited our company in order to discuss technical cooperation on June 1. They took a view of the status of our company's system for cooling water treatment system for a power plant and BWMS(Ballast Water Management System). And they focused a discussion whether it is possible to use ozoniation for cooling water treatment system using at a power plant. Our compnay recently try to find a solution for the shipbuilding Industry crisis in many ways. Therefore, we will make an effort to provide details on and discuss the ongoing support services with them promising not to make this communication a one time event.

Green Umbrella Children's Foundation hold a proclamation ceremony for child abuse prevention campaign on May 24. Our CEO, Chio Keum-sik delivered words of encouragement for this campaign as 55 members of a reginal leading opinion leader on behalf of a CEO of a leading company in Pusan. PSA Sunbo Academy2016 Executive Management Training Our company implemented 2016 execuative management training organized by PSA sunbo academy at Flamenco Hotel located in Sasang-gu on March 26. The title of this program was '2016 Sunbo Academy Executive Manangement Training' and our CEO, Choi Keum-sik, one vice-president, Choi Sang-sik, another vice-president, Yang Ho-yong and other top management members participated in this course. The goal of this program was to develop their communication skill, organization management skill ,and innovation capability.The first class was managed by Ki, won-gang who is a CEO of RS Platou Economic Research Co. which has been known as a global broker lecturing about status and future trend of shipbuilding and plant industries. The second class was 'Trend of Future Business' and the treiness expressed the highest response for this course. The top management also discuss various issues together, for example, a plan for reaction of our company by a customized strategy according to a respective cooperation company as a probability model. Additionally, they tried to find a solution for proper actions and policies in order to prepare for various environment variables and for the method of making production differentiation. The interesting part of the discussion was that the top management further discussed a new business item which is really necessary for our company's future. Finally they focused on an outside director system during the discussion.One top management said, " I could feel that we need to analyze the present problems and status of shipbuilding industry in order to establish new countermeasures for our company's future. And I really enjoyed learning not only about shipbuilding industry but also new businesses we can consider". Our CEO, Choi Keum-sik commented, " Our top management should prepare themselves by self-development related to a communication skill, creativity, and leberal arts knowledge in order to face with the more responsible task and managment for our company. This program made us to improve these kinds of necessary knowledge and skills for us and I expect that our performance will help our company's development".

2016 blood donation event was held in a Dadae 1 and a Dadae 2 factories of Sunbo Industry Co., Ltd. on April 20. This event has been managed twice a year and it is also planned for the employees working in Gupyeung and Gupyeung 1 factories of Sunbo Unitech Co., Ltd. in May. For this event 23 participatents of the employees in a Dadae 1 an a Dadae 2 factories were gathered , and we expect that the more donators will come for this event next year.

Sunbo family saw the 50th Eulsukdo Masterpiece Concert as Sunbo Group's culttural event on March 31. Many members such as an art director, Kim Won-myeung art director, a conductor ,Oh Chung-keun and a vilonlist, Choi Ki-oong could turn out a quite creditable performance since their Pusan Sympony Orchestra members has been recogised as the high level of a prive team i Pusan. The family members and Sunbo's employees could join this event together and enjoy the beautiful melody.
