Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd hold "2016 Round-Table Conference with Suppliers" in the second half of this year on Septemper 5, and our CEO, Choi Keumsik and the material procurement team members participated in this conference.Demanding market conditions in shipbuilding industries was reflected by the number of the participants since there were the biggest number of attendees who were CEOs of our suppliers this year.    [the Confrence Procedure] 1.   Sunbo Family(Sunbo group's employees) went to "Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra " which was the beginning of Busan Maru International Music Festival on August 29. This concert was performend by the most skillful orchestra team under the baton of a conductor, Jang Ryang and they performed in collaboration with the famous music players such as Anders Atrand and Wanni, Song. 

There was a visit of Futrue Play.Co.in accepting the invitation of Sunbo Angel Partners. on August 26. Future Play Company's CEO, Ryu Joonghee and other 2 examiners had a tea time with our company's CEO, Choi Keumsik at the CEO lounge. After the meeting, the visitors went to Dadae 2 company and continued  the tour by visiting Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd's information center, a PR room located in the main office. Finally, we introduced our company to them and we discussed  the trend of Korean startup companies together for about 2 hours.    

Quality Audit for ISO 9001, 14001,OHSAS 18001 implemented in the second half of this year from August 17 to August 19 for 3 days at Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. This audit had held in the presence of an examiner, Choi Wangyun  and an examiner, Kang Sanggyun of DNV DL, and our company decided to make an effort to make a better working environment for our employees by developing the levels of our quality, saftey and environmental system based on the result of this audit.  

Actual inspection on the spot in Sunbo Unitec, Gupyeong Factory organized by Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Plant Association was processed on August 18.The 6 examinants visited this factory for the site inspection and checked the document system so they could judge our company's capacity and capability, and the employees also responded these examinant's requirements during the process of an audit for ordering organizations and oil majors so the employees could successfully passed the audit implemented.  

Burckhardt Compression Co.'s M. Tanner (Vice President of contracting), P.Stähli (Project Team2 Manager), R.Looser (Vendor Development Engineer), A.Pirounakis, S.M. Lee, A.Gupta, T.H. Lee visited our company, Sunbo Industry Co, Ltd. on August 19. They could have a proper time to discuss what they can improve for the project, 'High Pressure Compressor Package' which has been processed before from Sunbo Industry Co..Ltd.    

Dadae 2 factory's employees of Sunbo Industry Co, Ltd., participated in volunteering to put in side dish for 50 father children family living in Saha-gu, Pusan. And our company successfully delivered this present to Dadae 1 dong office after completing this task.   

CEO, Choi Keumsik delievered a special lecture for high school students in Chonbuk Mechanical Technical High School on July 19 He emphasized a positive mindset, a passion for acheiving a goal, making constant effots, and doing an act of charity in order to develop and success the student themselves and this class was designed for a theme "Let's make a society that functional person is able to get treated differently". And he wished them target a strategic vison and have a pssion for life to become an established functional person.   

Our company's HRD team organized a special class which was delivered from 7:20 a.m to 8:30 a.m for about 1 hour on August 10, and its main theme was how to manage stress that is designed especially for our Sunbo Industry Co.,LTD's employees. The main professor of Sutopia HR consulting Co. lectured about the necessity of laugh and praise within an organization in order to release stress, the importance of communication between employees, and so on. Even if this class was progressed early in the morning, the proffessor entertained the 50 trainees with pleasure and useful information so that they could learn how to make themselves happy within an organization.    

  Sunbo Industry Co.,Ltd. successfully shipped a Gas Valve Enclosure from its Dadae 1 factory after the manufacture completion.  This facility is necessary for liquefying LNG in which temperature  -180 degree  by heat that is installed in FSRU(Floating/Storage/Regasification/Unit) as a boilder.Using seawater in a temperature of 30 degree is one of the common methods to liquefy LNG and using warm ocean water for this process when LNG Carrier is in service near the equator, while a regas boilder should be activated to heat seawater when the carrier is service around cold areas such as Abtarctica. The regas boilder is operated by either oil or gas.  [What is a Gas Valve Enclosure?]   A gas valce enclosure is fuel for a regas boilder, and when is used by  BOG(Boil-OffGas), it its required to be set up a front part of a regas boilder for the measurements of a temperation of  supplied gas, gas pressure  and gas consumption.

Sunbo Industry, Co.,Ltd. successfully purveyed  both PRS(Partial Re-liquefaction System) and LNG High Pressure Compressor Package made at a Gupyeong  factory for the D2449 vessels under construction of DSME Co., Ltd. on July 21.  

Alfa-Laval, Inc.'s CEO, Peter Carlberg with other members including Alfara Cohex, Inc.'s CEO, Choi Young-jong  visited to our company  on April 26. CEO, Peter Carlberg came to our company in order to discuss the result of our products we supplied for inspecting quality and to expand discussion on LNG business we have been developing. Alfa-Laval,Inc. has specialized in heat exchange, centrigugation, and pipe conveying fluid that made the company  the global leading manufactuer for these parts, and our company has built trusted relationships with them since we started to participated in making PRS(Partial Reliquefaction System) for this company since 2013. CEO, Peter Carlberg and other members started their tour visitng  the PR room in Sunbo Industry Co. and then our members and they discussed the way of stgrenghtening our cooeration together.  

The members of IMABARI Dockyard in Japan including Mr. Sato(sub-plant manager) and others visited our head office on July 22.  [Attendes and Visited Companies]  - Our host : Choi, Hong-ryeul(Executive Director), Gong, Sung-moon(Director), Park,Ki-duk(Section Chief)  - Visited Companies: Gupyeung and Gupyeung 1 factories and Dadae 1 and 2 factories 

Our company's HRD department participated in the starting ceremony for 2016 Company & Young Men Companionship Program organized by Busan Economic Promotion Agency on July 19.     1. Outline of Companionship Program for Company & Young Men     (1) Purpose of a participation in this program      :  Recognition Improvement & PR about Sunbo Group managed by university students targeting     (2) Period: July 2016 ~ November 2016 (for 4 months)      (3) Costs for managing this program: BEPA(Busan Economic Promotion Agency) pays 400USD for each PR team per month ( a total amount: 1,600 USD)    (4) Out 4 team members        : Kim, Gun-ho(Economics), Kim, So-eun(Economics), No, Ji-hye(Business Process Reengineering), Bae, Ji-young(Business Process  Reengineering)   

 Sunbo Group received the Pusan Metropolitan City Mayor Prize for contributing to overcoming a crisis of shipbuilding industry at  a reception room of Pusan Metropolitan City Mayor on July 21. ■ Prize Winners: Choi, Kyoung-ho(head of QC department)                         Choi, Sun-chan(head of structure design department)                         Yoo, Mu-sung(deputy head of shipbuilding business)  Our CEO, Choi,Keum-sik graced the occasion with his presence and the family of each one of the prize winners were also invited to this ceremony.

HRD team conducts a corporate Education titled as ''Necessary Communication Skills to Improve Organizational Communication" in Head Office leecture room at 8 a.m on July 20  This training was managed by Kim, Mi-hwa who is a team manager of DAWA Communication Co. for an hour-and-a-half ,and about 50 employees participated in this course. The course made a great appeal to the students, and they asked more additional training courses related to  historical and antiquarian theme within this year even if this training was offered early the morning.
