Our company has been proceeded  M2658 Line F.O SUPPLY Unit D.O Test in Dadae 1st factory on Jun 18. This test was progressed with attendance of  yard inspector, when pump running , check the pressure of the gauge, check for leakage in each of the V/V and FLANGE parts, and check the operating status of various devices.Moon-yeom Park, Sunbo R&D department manager, said "  We hope that this product will receive good responses from the Hyundae Mipo shipyard, and will continue to be ordered from the Mipo shipyard. Also, we hope that it will increase our sales by winning orders from other companies."

  Our Company successfully manufactured and delivered Screw Compressor Skid and Reciprocating Compressor Skid to KOBELCO on Nov 25 and Nov 27 in 2017. These products. We supplied these items as the first case after many difficult processing including oil flushing, assembling valves and so on. Our efforts and experience to manufactur these products will be an asset to deliver more products to KOBELCO in the future. Also, Sunbo Unitec Gupyeong factory has been manufacturing H2937/38 Screw Skid in order to deliver them in March and April in 2018. Head of department Geonwoo Kim thanked to all employees that “I really appreciate that all emaployees made an effort to guarantee our delivery date for these products meeting KOBELCO’s requiring qualities. And Let’s do our best to comply with specific delivery dates for the current SKID we has been madingt together.”  

 Sunbo Unitec Company  made an agreement on investment with WRS System Co., Ltd. at Sunbo Industries Co., on Nov 16. Sunbo Unitec's CEO Keumsik Choi, vice president Ungon Sagong, vice president Byeongseok Jin, executive director Hongryeol Choi, director Jaewook Seo, director Mongyeong Moon participated participated for this agreement. And WRS System Co., Ltd.'s CEO Yeon Jang and director Sangwon Kim performed signing contrac with Sunbo Family together. ​  

Our company succeeded in making an extra contract with MHIB shipyard for the latest LNG carrier after delivering 84 LPG carrier in January 2016. We finished ladding our 18 TANK TOP UNIT for MHIB LNG carrier 2321 on a bulk ship and these items are planning to Nagasaki, Japan on OCT 10. This shippment is the first delivery completed in October 2017 and we will regularly deliver the rest of the set every month according to the whole plan for 10 times of a delivery until May in the next year.   

 Our company progressed the test for Sunbo WTS for 8 hours with Doosan Engine Co., Ltd.'s engineers by setting Sunbo WTS on BP24443(5G70ME-C) Engine on Nov 3. Sunbo R&D expressed their safisfaction for a result of the test and decided to retify lacks identified. A lot of professionals participated in this test such as Doosan Engine's designin team, testing team, win-win management team and Man Diesel's engineers.   

 Burckhardt Compression company’s CEO Valentin Vogt and president of Korea Busan Burckhardt Compression Co., Ltd. visited Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd. on Aug 11 2017.    The goal of this visiting was that they wanted to check a status of manufacturing BACG Compressor Package and expand further businesses together.    A vice president, Byeongseok Jin and an executive director, Cheonguk Kim leaded them to show Sunbo Unitec Co.’s Gupyeong 1st company in order to check out BACG Compressor Package in progress and discussed the problems and improvements. And then, they moved to Sunbo Industries Co.’s Dadae 2nd factory for LNG System for testing. Our company’s CEO Geumsik Choi said that I’m looking forward to continuing our business Burckhardt Compression company as a good partner expanding our business filed.    

  Sunbo Unitec Gupyeong1st factory delivered a compressor skid unit of 2441 vessel(BP) which had been ordered by Burckhardt Compression company in 2016 to DSME on Aug 30 2017.  Seungmok Han who ia an assistant manager in a manufacturing Management Team said that it was very difficult job to complete this project since the vessel 2441 has two skids separately but as one set that is totally different design with other vessels those we had been managed. I would like to appreciate all hard working and efforts of our branches under Sunbo Unitec Co., Ltd. working together for over 1 year. Also, I’ll do my best to deliver the rest of the skid without any delay or problem.  

  Sunbo Unitec Co., Ltd. completed to Aluminum Welder Test which is necessary to manage Hanhwa's Cold Box project on Sep 12. KSL's Koto-san participated and examined the most suitable 4 Aluminum welders out of 9 participants. The 3 selected welders were Sus Engineers and 1 was a welder working at Dadae 2nd factory.   The head of Hanhwa's Cold Box project, Minjae Jun who is a head of QM department at Sunbo Unitec company said that this test made us select the most necessary and suitable welders who were confident and professional to complete the project of dealing with Aluminum as a welder.    

 Our company, Sunbo Unitec Co., Ltd. implemented Aluminum Welding Test on Sep 6 in order to achieve WPS for Aluminum Welding which is needed for HWANHWA project of manufacturing Cold Box. The test was completed by 4 welders(Master Jaeyong Park, Staff Namseok Kim, Pontu and Prayuth), BV Inspector (Jongtak Lee) and Sunbo QM(Head of QM department Minjae Jeon and assistant manager Dongwook Choi). Our company supported them to get Aluminum Welding Training held at Kobe Steel Co.,Ltd's Takasako factory from Aug 20 to Aug 26. And they conitued practign Aluminum Welding by preparing GTAW and GMAW welding machines by themselves and proceeded for PQT(Production Qualification Test) on Sep 6. One of the members who participated in the training and the test, Head of QM department Minjae Jeon expressed his feeling, " It was really good chance for me to learn that high quality of their welding and delivery has been made by their continous efforts to address diverse falses to recover with a clear step from material management task to After Service throughout Welding Management task.      

 Sunbo Industries Co. delivered LNG Vaporizer System won a contract with Hyundai Heavy Industries Co.,Ltd. to Hyundai Mipo Dockyard(HMD) on Aug 16. This product is going to be built in the world's first LNG carrier which has the first application of high-manganese steel for an LNG stroage tank.  

 Doosan Engine Co., Ltd's team manager of shared growth team Kyu woon, Lee, head of general procurement team Ik jun, Jeon, section head of quality inspection team visited Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd. in order to discuss a preliminary examination for Sunbo WTS on July 5.  According to our plan they visitied our Sunbo Unitech company first where the WTS test will be implemented and then they went to Dadae 2nd company to see our HP puming system, PRS test room and so on. Finally they reached to Sunbo's headquarter at Dadae 1st factory and Sunbo vice president Byeong seok, Jin started to expanine our company's businee status with main units having been made at Dadae 1st factory.  They could confirme a variety issue about WTS such as our company's production management system, quality control managment system for WTS as well as further issues to discuss.    

30 Busan Legislative Staff visited Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd. on July 6 in order to faciliate their understanding about our current goverment's main issues and shipbuilding market in South Korea. Sunbo vice president Byeong seok, Jjn, managing director of planning Chung wook, Kim, managing director of management support team Jae wook, Seo, managing director of R&D Ho gil, Jang, managing director of design team Sung moon, Kong welcomed the 30 staff and supported our company's spot inspection for about 50 minutes.  While the factory tour all of them visited a PR room at our headquarter so that they could understand our company's business status, planning as well as our company's corporate culture, Sunbo Way. Also they saw a variety of plaques received from our main customers and goverment and a bulletin board for ar regular support for our employees and their family. Once they reached to a designing room and R&D office, they could share a current bussiness issues for the next level such as a LNG business sector. They moved to Dadae 2nd factory altogether and our vice president organized the tour by explaining a PRS test room, a HP pumping system and so on. After finishing the day tour they had a time to share more issues in order to find the better support system to develop a current shipbuilding market.     

Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. Participated in Gastech 2017 Tokyo from April 4 to April 7 and could promoted our LNG system/package and On/Offshore Plant Business for Modularization.     We focused on promoting our company’s LNG FGSS, On/Offshore Plant Business for modularization meeting diverse customers and shipowners by setting Sunbo Industries Co.’ independent booth. As a result, we could discuss and plan to work with many foreign companies located in US, Europe and China as a necessary partner to cooperate to manufacture our company’s LNG FGSS.   

Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd. implemented ISO 9001/14001 training on 4 March and 11 March this year. This training had been organized by Busan Human Resources Development Institute and CEO Kang Pansik lectured ISO 9001/14001;2015 Standard Revision. He has been a judge of Quality,Environment and Safty system for many comanies and is also an adjunct professor at Dong-A University in Busan. This training was aimed at making each member of TFT who will function to adjust current Sunbo's core documents and regulations understand and apply ISO to our company's.  The 24 members took the both course on 4 March and 11 March and this course was evaluated on 4.1 out of 5. The main theme of this course titled as ISO 9001/14001:2015 Standard Revision was composed of an overall undertaning of the standard revision, a process of documented information, Quality and Enviornment System and an outcome of processing Quality and Envionment. The time frame of this course was designed from 8:00 am to 17:00 am and the main concept of the two couses was different since the first lecture was mainly delivered to the employees in one way in order to explain ISO standard revision but the second one was designed to give a chance for the employees to participate in finding a problem of their current ISO regulation and find the better way to adjust them in person. The instructor also devoted to his efforts to make them understand the new revisoin and apply them to Sunbo's ISO regulations. After finishing the two courses the employees discussed their difficulties of applying the new contents to their documents to adjust everything themselves. This made them to plan a regular TFT meeting and study about the new ISO regulations in order to fucntion as an internal inspector not just holding this specialized knowledge themselves.  

Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd. delivered LNG Vaporiser System to Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. on Nov 22. This product is a test facility for shore establishements at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd..   

On 8th of November, Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd. had visitors from Guangdong Province Shipbuilding Industries delegation. Our employees introduced the production sites: Gupyeong 1st, Dadae 2nd, and Dadae 1st Factories and gave them a presentation for its Business Introduction for givng an idea what SUNBO did, what SUNBO does, and what SUNBO can for LNG Application specifically saying LNG Fuel Gas Supply System.   The Business Meeting was very fruitful for both parties and during the business meeting both parties had a communication for future possible business collaboration and cooperation.
