   ​On July 15, the Saha-gu Enterprise Development Council held a 'One (1) company - One (1) Household Support Agreement' to support low-income households in Saha-gu. Twenty one (21) companies from the Saha-gu Enterprise Development Council participated in the agreement, and will support approximately Eighty four (84) household low-income over the next two (2) years and will expand these number.

  On June 26th, SUNBO held its 33rd anniversary ceremony with its honorable members and stakeholders at Eulsukdo cultrual center. The ceremony was organized in three parts for performance, special speech, and main ceremony event. The prepardness and splendid performance was very eye-catching. 

   On May 12th, SUNBO family members participated in the 2019 Busan Half Marathon sponsored by BNK Busan Bank. The Busan Half Marathon is a representative annual event held in Dadaepo area, near the Dadae 1 factory.  

On April 19th, Choi Geum-sik, Chairman of the SUNBO won the '2019 Beautiful Taxpayer Award' held at the Seoul Regional Tax Office.The "Beautiful Taxpayer Award" is given by the National Tax Service every year to 24 taxpayers who practice social contributions through donations and volunteer work, or have greatly contributed to the local economy, including creating employment, hiring disabled people and labor-management harmony.  

- On April 5th, SUNBO Angel Partners, which was founded in 2016, celebrated its 3rd anniversary. In this event, approximately 60 people from Angel Partners, SUNBO, Lighthouse Combined Investment and iPartners attended the event.

  - SUNBO Unitech Gupyeong1 factory completed the Regas and Drum Unit ordered by Hyundai Heavy Industries and delivered it on March 12th, 2019. The product is a facility that installed in a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) to supply re-gasified LNG to onshore consumer. The main component of the system is a pump and gas vaporizer. - Regas and Drum Unit is a heavy weight module which is nearly 1,000 ton. In case of the first project, there was much work left after delivery due to the problems with valves and equipment, but this time we were able to deliver and finish the products in a timely manner. In addition to that, this project is significant that the customer's improvement of Regas Unit Layout has improved the working environment and difficulty. In this regard, SUNBO awarded employees under the Lee Seok-oh, the head of SUNBO Unitech, who successfully carried out the project. - Based on these efforts, our company has been awarded for additional projects, and we are currently working on those projects to deliver them on time.  

  On March 7, SUNBO received a cost reduction award from Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. for its contribution to enhancing cost competitiveness through productivity improvement and innovation activities. In the future, SUNBO will do our utmost to make the win-win relationship with our customers stronger through continuous cost improvement efforts and quality improvement activities.  

On February 9th, SUNBO Hitech in Youngam achieved 1,500 days without incident and Chairman Choi visited the Hitech to deliver a certificate of zero accident achievement. On his speech, chairman Choi said 'From April 1st, I wish all of our Hitech family will have lovely holidays with their loved one and let’s make ZERO overtime work on holidays.’ He also insisted that “We shall make a pleasant workplace by getting things done on time.” SUNBO Hitech is a factory located in Youngam, Jeollanam-do, about 3400m2, and supplying its products to Hyundai Samho. Its main products are tank top units and purifier room units. In addition, On August 22, the Dadae 1 factory is expected to celebrate 1200 days without incident.  

   On January 25th, SUNBO was awarded as an excellent quality company at the New Year's Meeting of the Hyundai Convention (Hyundai Heavy Industries Group Integration Council) held at Gyeongju Hyundai Hotel.  

  On January 16, during the DSME Global Top Partnership Meeting held at DSME Ocean Plaza, Chairman Geum-Sik Choi finished his two year tenure as Chairman of the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Global Top Partnership Association.The Global Top association, an organization of DSME’s sub-suppliers consisting 126 companies, meeting was held on January 16th at the DSME Ocean Plaza. In the meeting, Mr. Choi, fulfilled his duty as a chairman of the Global Top association, passed the duty to the next. 

  On February 21, Choi Geum-sik, chairman of the Saha-gu Enterprise Development Council, participated in the '10, 000 + Job Creation' agreement held by the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry to create employment.

  On Jan. 19th, SUNBO UNITECH received an appreciation plaque from the Korea Maritime and Ocean University for its contribution to the development of industry-university cooperation. 

  On December 17, SUNBO was awarded the citation by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy for its contribution to regional development through the revitalization of youth exchange with local companies.  

  On December 19, SUNBO was awarded the certificate of recognition as a key company for clean energy technology in 2018 by Busan Mayor Mr.Au.'Clean Energy Technology Innovation Company Nurturing Business' is the first 12 companies selected to support customized programs such as product commercialization by selecting innovative companies with high technological innovation and growth potential to expand the base of the clean energy industry.  

Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. Dadae 1st factory completed to delivered MR/C3(propane pre-cooled mixed refrigerant process) Package to SHI in Oct 2.This is an one of BOG(Boil Off Gas) liquefy system. BOG is a vaporizing natural gas during LNG transport, LNG tankers are designed to carry natural gas in liquid form at a temperature of – 163°C, close to the vaporization temperature. Despite tank insulation designed to limit the admission of external heat, even a small amount of it will cause slight evaporation of the cargo. This natural evaporation, known as boil-off is unavoidable and has to be removed from the tanks in order to maintain the cargo tank pressure.​      

Our company successfully manufactured and delivered Floating Storage Re-gasification Unit (FSRU​) to Hyundai Heavy Industry on Sep 4 in 2018. This is first case in Korea that manufactured and delivered these kind of product so that we expect that our efforts and experience to manufacture these product will be an asset to deliver more products in the future. In addition, Sunbo Unitec Gupyeong 1st factory has been manufacturing H2993 FSRU of Hyundai Heavy Industry SWAN Project in oder to deliver them in December, 2018. Head of REGAS department Taeho Kim said that " Even if we faced lots of difficulties during manufacturing this product, we endured and overcame those tings, successfully delivered these product so i'm very glad. Now  me and my team focus on next project (H2993 FSRU) and will do our best to guarantee delivery date and maintain top quality. "
