On February 7, Sunbo held an ERP Migration Town Hall on the rooftop training center of its headquarters to explore the transition to a next-generation ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.

With over 180 employees in attendance, the town hall was a success, serving as a forum to analyze the limitations of the current ERP system and to discuss the strategic direction for the upcoming system. “Migration” refers to the process of moving from one operating system to a more advanced or entirely new one. Three vendors participated in the event, each demonstrating their ERP solutions.

Sunbo is currently pushing forward with the ERP migration initiative to better prepare for its upcoming IPO and to enhance both operational efficiency and overall competitiveness.

Through the demonstration of new Java-based ERP systems, Sunbo Family gained insights into the future of ERP. Unlike the existing setup, which requires ERP to run solely on in-office PCs, the new solutions offer the flexibility to operate across PCs, web browsers, and mobile platforms. Employees thoroughly compared the strengths and weaknesses of each solution, evaluating the competitiveness of the three participating vendors.

Following the town hall, Sunbo conducted an internal survey to collect employee feedback and gain a clearer understanding of issues and improvement needs regarding the current ERP system. Based on this input, the company will define its direction, select the most suitable ERP system, and carry out a structured migration plan.

This event significantly raised awareness across the organization about the future of ERP systems and laid an important foundation for building a more efficient work environment. The IT team emphasized the importance of continued feedback and meticulous preparation, encouraging all employees to actively participate and cooperate to ensure the success of the ERP migration project.
