Amid growing interest in energy development that can replace fossil energy without creating pollution worldwide, our company has joined the "R&D Light Dream Project" that collects solar energy and converts it into electricity. In this regard, on November 17, the "R&D Light Dream Project Solar Power Generation Facility Completion Ceremony" was held at the site of the DH Controls plant.

In addition to SUNBO Industries Co., Ltd. the "R&D Light Dream Project" involving various companies in Busan, including DH Controls Co., Ltd., PJK Co., Ltd., Turbo Powertech Co., Ltd., and Saeng Co., Ltd., is a project to support the installation cost of solar power facilities to excellent local R&D companies. Since last year, the Busan Metropolitan Government has been promoting the "R&D Light Dream Project" with Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd., Busan Techno Park, and the Busan Renewable Energy Cooperative to cope with the climate crisis and spread the supply of new renewable energy.

Supported by the "R&D Light Dream Project," our company can generate 300 kWh of electricity per month by installing solar facilities on the roof of the Dadae 2 plant and at the same time reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 192 tons per year. It will also contribute to social development by donating 50% of the electricity revenue from solar power generation facilities to public works projects.

Our company, which designs and manufactures shipbuilding marine equipment module units through eco-friendly renewable energy, has taken the lead in reviving the global environment and social development by installing solar facilities. In the future, our company plans to actively follow the world's carbon neutral policy, establish eco-friendly and healthy businesses, and contribute to the community.
