The project , which began in April 2021, allows children in the Nawasa no.1 area to take classes in safe and comfortable classrooms even in bad weather. By December 2022, necessary educational equipment and equipment in the classroom, such as desks, chairs, and blackboards, will also be provided.
Along with the Green Umbrella Fund Project, SUNBO Lighthouse Invest is carrying out a child-friendly educational environment support project (LPT) to guarantee the survival and development rights of children aged 0 to 8 in Casena Nankana West and Bulbulos, Upper East, Ghana, and to improve kindergarten and elementary school learning environments.
In addition to improving the educational environment, the Child-Friendly Education Environment Support Project (LPT) is also focusing on strengthening caregivers, teachers, communities, and government capabilities to guarantee children aged 0 to 8. Until now, 77 ECD center teachers have been supported with parish development and teacher training programs, and 2,070 parents have been given parenting workshops through health workers (20) and facilitators (100), and radio broadcasts have spread knowledge of raising infants in the community. New seeds of hope are spreading with the support of the propaganda lighthouse in poor areas where even basic educational facilities have not been provided.
In November 2013, our company launched the SUNBO Lighthouse Invest, a non-profit public interest corporation, to improve the poor living and educational environment of poor overseas countries. Starting with goods support and volunteer work in Dharamsala, India, educational projects for children and adolescents in poor countries such as Tibet, Uganda, Nepal, and Congo are being carried out. In the future, we will actively continue to support domestic and foreign children who will be responsible for the future through the support project of SUNBO Lighthouse Invest.
