On October 28 and 29, Sunbo successfully completed the SUNBO Welcome School's Smart Introduction Gilajabi, a workshop for new entrants. Twenty-nine new employees (as of September this year) and 11 executives participated in the workshop, which was held on the second floor of the Fairfield by Marriott Hotel in Amnam-dong, Seo-gu.
The workshop aims to share the company's vision and management goals with new entrants and to enhance the ability to respond to changes in the new environment. On the morning of the first day, executives gave enthusiastic lectures such as ▲ Sunbo Growth Story (executive director Seo Jae-wook) ▲ LET'S GO 2025 mid- to long-term vision (executive director Choi Kyung-ho) ▲ Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd.'s new business promotion strategy (CEO Kim Chung-wook) ▲ FGSS system and business outlook (Vice President Kim Nam-soo). After the luncheon, ▲ Understanding and Prospect of Eco-Friendly Ships (Director Jang Ho-gil) ▲ Global Environmental Regulations and Overseas Marketing Strategy (Director Lee Ji-young) were taught, as well as positive mind building education and singing classes by outside instructors. The new employees then wrapped up their first day's schedule with a commemorative photo session after having a comfortable communication time with the CEO with Chairman Choi Geum-sik.
On the second day, after a lecture by Choi Hong-ryul, CEO of Sunbopeace Co.,Ltd. on the theme of reading, goal management, and sharing of gratitude, time was set for the discussion task of new entrants. New entrants presented their team's strengths and improvements under the theme of "Resolving Collaboration and Communication Issues," and made individual presentations by writing what they wanted from related teams. The presentation will be submitted to the executive meeting and used as a reference for future management activities and team goals.
Through this workshop, new entrants were able to grasp detailed information on market prospects and management status, as well as the importance of communication and cooperation to create results. In particular, lectures by executives and horizontal communication sessions on various topics, which were difficult to access, drew great response among new employees. Won Yoon-jung, an employee (Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. and Design Team 3), said, "I was able to know the vision of Sunbo through the workshop, and I had a happy and fulfilling time with good people." Kim Jin-woo (Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd., Design Team 6) said, "I was able to draw in detail what direction Sunbo wants to move forward," adding, "As a Sunbo Family, it was an opportunity to solidify my mind to contribute to achieving the LET'S GO 2025 goal."
