 On the afternoon of February 20, a joint fire drill was held at Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd Dadae 1 plant.The Saha Fire Station, which was in charge of the training, guided emergency evacuation methods suitable for the field situation, how to use fire extinguishers and hydrants, and trained first aid methods including CPR.   At noon on February 28, a safety prayer system was held simultaneously at the factory before the launch to pray for the well-being of the Sunbo Family and for accidents and accidents at workplaces. The safety prayer festival held on this day was the first quarterly event in 2023, and Sunbo Family carefully set up an award to the front of the factory and held a ceremony to pray for safety. While the temperature rises every day and warm weather continues, the risk of accidents may increase if physical tension is relieved, requiring special attention from executives and employees.

 "LET'S GO 2025, it's time to show your execution skills in the 3rd year".   Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. and Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd. gave morning special lectures on "LET'S GO 2025" at each factory's training center on January 18 and February 1.   The morning special lecture, which was held under the theme of "LET'S GO 2025 Mid- to Long-Term Vision" for an hour from 8 a.m., was aimed at all executives and employees below the appointment of each factory and those above responsibility.   Choi Kyung-ho, executive director in charge of education, introduced the history of the management innovation roadmap that Sunbo has built according to the domestic industry environment and risks, and pointed out the strategic direction and implementation tasks of Vision 2025. Vision 2025 divides the detailed goals of the eight company-wide strategies into short-term (21′), medium-term (23′), and long-term (25′), and the main content is to integrate the goals of the entire organization and reorganize the organizational functions for sustainable management. It is to create a foundation for "small but strong presentation" by incorporating core values and missions unique to Sunbo, such as quality differentiation, system innovation, strong partnership, and social contribution , into management strategies.   "It is urgent for all executives and employees to show strong execution power to achieve the goal in the third year of the 'LET'S GO 2025 Mid- to Long-Term Vision,'" said Choi Kyung-ho, managing director. "We ask all executives and employees to actively participate in the project so that they can overcome the crisis and secure growth engines for a greater future through LET'S GO 2025," he said. Sunbo Hitech Co.,Ltd. was selected as Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries' quality cooperation company on January 13.  Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries expressed its encouragement and gratitude through its certificate of excellent partners, saying that Sunbo Hitech's thorough quality management and efforts to comply with delivery dates have greatly contributed to strengthening our competitiveness. Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, the parent company of Sunbo Hitech Co.,Ltd., has been a win-win partner that has been with Sunbo Hitech Co.,Ltd. since the beginning of its establishment and has been establishing a stable supply chain and cooperation system for equipment. Sunbo has been striving for trust management to maintain effective partnerships with its parent company even after difficult times due to repeated economic conditions at home and abroad and the shipbuilding ecosystem.   Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries maintains a high share of the global market every year, with eco-friendly LNG ships, a global trend and high value-added industry, as its main field. As the domestic shipbuilding industry's technology overwhelms its competitor China and the parent company's management outlook for this year is also positive, the company is expected to further expand its market competitiveness using the long-awaited boom. In particular, domestic shipbuilders have entered a supercycle since early this year and are aggressively sweeping orders for LNG carriers, which are in increasing demand worldwide, so suppliers connected to the supply chain are also expected to enjoy a series of upward effects.

 Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. held a safety pledge ceremony at Dadae Plant 1 and 2 on the morning of January 25.  Executives and employees of all departments of Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. and its partners read a safety pledge consisting of 13 treaties and received a safety pledge through a representative. After delivering the pledge , CEO Kim Sang-do said in a speech, "You should be careful not to get hurt in all situations in the workplace, not only during work but also during breaks," stressing, "Safety is the first value to be prioritized over quality or process." In particular, he asked everyone to voluntarily participate in safety, such as "Don't overdo it, don't rush, don't do it roughly" and thoroughly wearing protective gear.   After the CEO's instruction, Choi Geum-sik, chairman of Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd., wrapped up the event with encouragement, saying, "Let's always be considerate, love, and create a family-like company and a pleasant company."

  On December 30, at 11 a.m., the 2022 introduction family closing ceremony was held at the headquarters training center.  The event was held in the order of ▲ National Ritual ▲ Company's introduction ▲ Reading of the Code of Ethics ▲ Award Ceremony ▲ New Year's Day (Chairman Choi Geum-sik) ▲ Reading the resolution ▲ Opening of the time capsule. The closing ceremony of each factory outside the headquarters was held in the afternoon under the supervision of the CEO and the factory manager. It's Chosun Mai at the awards ceremony.The listing and rise were delivered in a total of eight categories, including the S Award, Sales Pioneer Award, and Plant VE Innovation Award.   2022 was a year when executives and employees' passion shone even more as the "opportunity" of booming shipbuilding and the "crisis" of the global economic downturn came at the same time. The closing ceremony, which was held at the end of Lim In-year, was a time for Seonbo Families, who have been working hard to secure quality and improve competitiveness despite the rapidly changing market environment and internal and external crises, to praise and encourage each other. In his New Year's address, Chairman Choi Geum-sik shared his management direction with executives and employees and reiterated his commitment to achieving his New Year's goals.  

 Following the first selection of excellent companies for the "Work Innovation Incentive System" announced by the Ministry of Employment and Labor last year, Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. was finally honored to be selected as an excellent company for balancing work and life in Busan.  In September last year, Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. earned an A grade in the work innovation incentive system and received various benefits such as exemption from regular labor supervision, support for work innovation infrastructure, and additional points for family-friendly certification. The work innovation incentive system is a system aimed at improving work productivity and promoting work-life balance by allowing companies to voluntarily establish and implement work innovation plans, and has been in effect since 2019.   Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. was also selected as an excellent company for work-life balance practice introduced by the Busan Regional Promotion Group for Work-Life Balance Week in 2022. As a company participating in the work innovation incentive system, Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. received a review and evaluation of the work innovation implementation plan for three months. The selection of excellent companies was influenced by the implementation of various employee welfare systems such as ▲ Creating a culture of regular work and supporting the staggered commuting system ▲ Family Day every Wednesday ▲ Remote work ▲ Refresh vacation and condominium support ▲ Manager training. In addition, efforts to strengthen communication between executives and employees through anniversary support, expansion of congratulatory money, establishment of welfare allowances, and workshops were also reflected in the evaluation. 

 On December 15, the Sunbo held a briefing session on its 2023 business plan at the Busan Shipbuilding Equipment Industry Cooperative of the Mieum Industrial Complex.  The briefing session was held for about eight hours from 10 a.m., starting with the introduction of Saga and the opening speech (Chairman Choi Geum-sik), with 95 executives and employees of each of the four corporations (Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd., Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd., Sunbo Hitech Co.,Ltd., and Sunbo Piece Co.,Ltd.).   The first schedule to share the sectoral strategy of the new year's introduction was the announcement of the "LET'S GO 2025" strategy to create the value of eco-friendly technology of the introduction. In this announcement, ▲ new luxury module gap ▲ accelerated growth of eco-friendly LNG fuel supply unit FGSS (Fuel Gas Supply System) ▲ analyzed the current status of value-sharing sustainable management and presented future countermeasures. Following the announcement of cost reduction plans, factory-specific tasks, and HSE team's environmental and safety and health strategies, the morning schedule was completed with the prediction of sales trends (Joseon market conditions).   As a detailed promotion strategy of LET'S GO 2025, quantitative (sales) and qualitative goals classified in three stages by 2025 were presented. Detailed goals were to secure orders, find new customers, and concentrate on eco-friendly energy business capabilities by upgrading FGSS design technology and improving quality. It drew attention that FGSS analyzed annual orders for each project and presented a detailed picture to strengthen the role of each department.   After lunch, the company continued to report on business plans in the production, design, and quality sectors, followed by material procurement, management support, management planning, computerization, and commissioning sectors. The test drive newly included in the business plan report is an essential element of the technology demonstration stage that increases the completeness of shipbuilding equipment and is expected to play a major role in expanding the eco-friendly fuel supply business. 

 On December 16, Sunbo hosted the 2022 Sunbo Academy CEO Course (hereinafter referred to as a workshop) at the training center on the second floor of the Songdo Fairfield by Marriott Hotel. A total of 36 people, including 19 executives, 11 spouses and 6 team leaders, participated in the workshop and it lasted about 9 hours from 9 a.m.  In the morning, free discussions were held on the future development direction of Sunbo based on sector-specific announcements. The announcement by sector was made based on ▲ internal and external corporate image improvement plan and LET'S GO 2025 implementation status and improvement plan (Choi Kyung-ho, management plan) ▲ FGSS advancement & future food discontinuation strategy (Kim Nam-soo, FGSS general) ▲ CCUS business progress sharing (Moon Mong-young, energy solution) ▲ production process problems and improvement plan (Lee Dong-joon, Gupyeong factory production manager) ▲ personnel management team.   After the luncheon, a special lecture on "Corporate Competitiveness and Organizational Culture" by Kim Myung-sik, a representative consultant of Meta Plan Group, was given by Song Jin-gu, a professor at Gachon-gu, a professor at Gachon University. <How can I get what I want?In the special lecture on humanities under the theme of >, executive spouses joined together to meet and communicate.   After the workshop, the 2022 Sunbo Academy schedule was completed. Seonbo, a family-friendly company, plans to provide abundant educational contents and exchange opportunities for executives and employees, men and women of all ages, to enjoy in 2023.

 Kim Chung-wook, CEO of Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd., won the "2022 Korea Small and Medium Venture Business Awards" technology innovation category.  At the awards ceremony for small and medium-sized venture companies held at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Hotel in Seoul on December 21, Unitech was recognized for its contribution to improving productivity and quality in the shipbuilding industry by introducing the concept of ship module unit for the first time in the world.   Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd. is stepping up efforts to expand its business and secure technology competitiveness due to the recent increase in demand for module units. Since 2021, it has been strengthening its value chain with startups to develop green energy solutions. It also plans to make all-out efforts to develop and demonstrate eco-friendly energy technologies, which are high-value-added industries in the future of Busan Port.

 Since their relationship with Samho-eup, Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd. and Sunbo Hi-Tech Co.,Ltd. have been steadily carrying out sharing projects for the community. Sunbo Hi-tech Co.,Ltd. has been donating money to Samho-eup every year for seven years, and Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd. has also joined the sharing to mark the end of 22. Since last year, neighbors who have been in welfare blind spots due to steep inflation, including living costs, are in desperate need of warm help.  The donations donated on this day were transferred to the Jeonnam branch of the Community Chest of Korea so that they could be used for welfare specialization projects in Samho-eup.

 This year marks the 10th anniversary of the sponsorship and volunteer work of love briquettes that Sunbo Family has been steadily carrying out every winter.  On Saturday (3rd), the first weekend of December when the cold snap hit the country, about 100 family members of the company's executives and employees gathered on a mountain road in Gamcheon-dong, Saha-gu, early in the morning. The family of executives and employees wore gloves, aprons, and vests under the guidance of social workers at Busan Coal Bank, and shared roles such as stacking briquettes, transporting them, and storing warehouses. Executives and employees were in charge of transportation and storage, and their children continued their volunteer work for about two hours with quick teamwork, such as loading briquettes on a forklift. The children of executives and employees, who have attended every year since the start of the volunteer work, have become masters of moving briquettes and protected the site.   On this day, 10,000 briquettes were sponsored by the Sunbo Family, of which 3,500 were distributed to 28 households, including basic living recipients, single elderly people, small households, and grandchildren. The remaining briquettes will be delivered sequentially to the Gamcheon area by the middle of next month. The Sunbo presented snacks and small gifts for the families of executives and employees who took a short nap on the weekend and participated in volunteer work.   The total number of briquettes sponsored by Sunbo Family over 10 years is 100,000. An average of 10,000 briquettes were delivered evenly to neighbors in need every year. Jeon In-sung (Design 6 Team), who participated in the volunteer work, said, "I was able to finish my rewarding activities thanks to my grandmother who gave me a cup of ginger tea and participated in the volunteer work like a festival." Senior (material procurement team) Park Jung-hyun said, "I spent a meaningful time with my daughters and nephews while volunteering, which had been delayed under one excuse or another," adding, "I am proud to have given my children really happy memories."   Since its foundation, Sunbo has been practicing sharing with the community in various fields.  Lighthouse Invest, a public interest corporation that builds schools in underdeveloped countries abroad, and the Seonjae Scholarship Foundation, which supports the development of talent in Gimhae, are sharing communities representing Sunbo. In addition, they are giving warm hands to children's welfare facilities such as children's hospitals and sharing side dishes.

 Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. was selected as a leading technology protection company through security system inspection and consulting organized by the large and small venture business department for about five months from July to November.  This selection is considered one of the best achievements in the small and medium-sized enterprise market as a result of recognizing Sunbo's excellent technology security system and operational capabilities. The designation period is a total of two years from December 2 this year, the date of selection, to December 1, 2024. With the selection of a leading company, SENO has secured higher trust as an excellent technology protection company, and a total of 40 million won will be provided for future technology protection policy projects. In addition, various benefits will be provided, including on-site advice from technical protection experts and free security education, implementation of a technical data retention system, and use of network security controls. This selection served as an opportunity for Sunbo executives and employees to make more efforts to protect technology and information security that determine the company's existence, and to strengthen security awareness.

 Sunbo Industries Co., Ltd. was selected as the 44th corporate branch of the "Jiksanhak Cooperation Branch" that the Busan Metropolitan Government is pushing to realize an innovative city for industry-academic cooperation.  On November 30, Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd. held the opening ceremony of the 44th branch of Jisanhak Cooperation with Busan City, Busan Techno Park, and Dong-A University professors and vowed to strengthen the industry-academic network. The Jisanhak Branch functions as an advanced base for communities, companies, and universities to participate on their own and present a new Jisanhak cooperation model. In the face of deepening low birth rate and population outflow, it is expected that it will be able to jointly respond to the regional economic crisis through technology transfer, prototype production, and talent training.   ▲ Provide a field training environment to local universities ▲ Hiring university technical personnel ▲ fostering future talent and fostering entrepreneurial universities ▲ signing a technology transfer agreement. On November 18, the Sunbo held the "2022 SUNBO ACADEMY Team Leader Coaching Leadership Course" (hereinafter referred to as the Team Leader Workshop) at the Shilla Stay Seobusan Hotel. The team leader workshop, which ran from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., was attended by CEO of each company, 11 executives from each team, and 27 team leader-level employees.  As the first schedule, a special lecture was given by Min Seung-ki, head of the Happiness Vision Research Institute, under the theme of the leader's communication method. After the luncheon, discussions and presentations on group topics followed. The topic of the presentation was ▲ How to revitalize communication between team leaders and team members ▲ How to enhance the corporate image ▲ How to implement and improve LET'S GO 2025 ▲ Problems and improvement of the production process ▲ New entrants' work skill level-up plan. Each group of management planning (Article 1), production and quality (Article 2 to Article 4), and design (Article 5) presented measures to revitalize in-house communication and the need to improve work sharing after discussions by topic. After the group announcement, there was a commemorative photo session with CEO General Review (Chairman Choi Geum-sik of Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd.). This workshop was an opportunity to re-examine major goals such as LET'S GO 2025 during the busy New Year's preparations and derive effective alternatives through brainstorming of team leader-level employees.

  Acquisition of a hydrogen product manufacturing license is underway for a water electrolysis system (a system that electrolyzes water to produce hydrogen). Organic cooperation between in-house departments is expected to be needed to respond quickly to increasingly strengthened safety regulations and laws and to establish a smooth manufacturing and sales cycle.  The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy previously implemented the Hydrogen Economy Promotion and Hydrogen Safety Management Act (Safety Management) in February to strengthen the process of manufacturing and selling hydrogen facilities. Accordingly, the shipbuilding industry, which is a water electrolysis facility manufacturing facility, was issued a hydrogen product manufacturing business license on November 2. Currently, Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd. has ▲ Completion Inspection and Safety Management Regulations Review (Gas Corporation) ▲ Appointment of Safety Manager and Insurance for Liability of Compensation Insurance ▲ Report of Business Commencement ▲ Hydrogen Products Inspection (Gas Corporation).   In order to quickly complete the remaining procedures, active cooperation is required, such as submitting data throughout all departments such as design, quality, production, and materials. It takes about 10 months in the previous technology review stage, and as the date is delayed than expected, a more systematic and efficient cooperation structure should be established. This is because the project cannot be expected to be carried out smoothly unless it is resolved with interest internally at a time when the hydrogen safety-related laws and the enforcement principles of the gas construction Corporation continue to be revised and newly established. Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd.  recently shared the status of the approval process and reiterated that "related departments will actively share and collaborate with production, HSE, and engineers."

 At a foreign worker's event held at the Daebul Industrial Complex on November 6, a participant suddenly fell unconscious. It was Shank, a worker at Hyunyoung Industrial Co. Shank, who usually had cardiovascular disease, was taken to a hospital immediately after the accident and underwent emergency surgery to pierce blocked blood vessels. Fortunately, the operation was completed safely, and Shank went to work normally at the factory on November 22 after receiving hospital treatment for about 15 days. Upon hearing the news, executives and employees of the Yeongam plant, including Lee Kyu-heon, executive director of Sunbo Hitech Co.,Ltd. , donated 1 million won to Shank as medical expenses. The envelope delivered by executive director Lee Kyu-heon with words of blessing was the heart of Seonbo Family, who was worried about the health of his colleagues who came to other countries and worked hard. Sunbo aims for family-friendly management and strives to resolve the grievances of individual executives and employees.  On November 10, Choi Geum-sik, chairman of Sunbo Hi-tech Co.,Ltd., donated bicycles, locks and safety helmets of love to low-income families in Yeongam-gun. Chairman Choi Geum-sik, who heard the story of an elderly person who is unable to use convenience facilities in the town due to lack of suitable means of transportation, donated it to the family. When local governments discover vulnerable groups, prior relays supported by Sunbo continue. The 5 million won donation that Sunbo Hi-Tech Co.,Ltd. has donated to Samho-eup for five years is said to be useful for low-income families.
