SUNBO Unitech participated in the ‘Green Hydrogen Global Forum 2023' held at the Jeju International Convention Center from October 23 to 25 and conducted exchange and exhibition activities.
The Green Hydrogen Global Forum, held in Jeju Island, a leading region in the domestic clean hydrogen industry, was established as a venue to announce and share policies for energy transition to 'clean hydrogen' in order to foster the world's No. 1 hydrogen industry. At this forum with the main theme of 'Clean Hydrogen Leading Nation, Towards Sustainable International Cooperation', SUNBO Unitec exhibited PEM TYPE water electrolysis equipment and introduced core technologies.
SUNBO Unitech CEO Cheong wook Kim attended the opening ceremony of Korea's first green hydrogen bus held at the Sujeonhae Demonstration Complex in Gujwa -eup, Jeju-si on October 23 and congratulated the official operation of the green hydrogen bus on the Hamdeok - Halla Arboretum route (No. 311, 312).
The water electrolysis demonstration project implemented by Jeju Island and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy starting in 2020 is significant in that it established the entire green hydrogen cycle ecosystem, from production to transportation and utilization, for the first time in Korea. SUNBO Unitec, which is strengthening cooperation with the local community by supplying a 300KW PEM water electrolysis facility to Jeju Haengwon Wind Complex in the first half of this year, plans to accelerate the expansion of the clean hydrogen ecosystem in the hydrogen industry by participating in this forum.
