Having grown alongside the history of Korea’s shipbuilding and energy industries and steadily demonstrated its value and capabilities, SB Sunbo Co., Ltd. has reached the meaningful milestone of its 40th anniversary.
On July 1, SB Sunbo held its 40th Anniversary Ceremony, bringing together employees and representatives from related organizations. The event marked not only four decades of relentless challenges and achievements, but also the company’s determination to take a bold new step toward becoming a century-old enterprise leading the global eco-friendly energy market.
The ceremony began with the national salute, followed by the singing of the company anthem and a reading of the Code of Ethics, reaffirming employees’ sense of responsibility and shared commitment.
An awards ceremony was then held to recognize employees and outstanding partner-company personnel who have contributed to the growth and development of SB Sunbo. Honors included the Saha-gu District Office Award, Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Award, and Busan Regional Employment and Labor Administration Award, among others.
To commemorate the company’s 40th anniversary, special anniversary incentives were also presented to all employees and partner companies, further emphasizing SB Sunbo’s commitment to mutual growth and shared prosperity.
In his commemorative address, Chairman Choi Geum-sik expressed his appreciation, saying:
