SB SUNBO Co., Ltd. held a Safety Resolution Rally at the Gupyeong Plant on Friday, November 21 at 8:00 AM in front of Building B.

The rally was organized in response to a recent safety incident at the plant. Management staff, direct employees, and partner company personnel from the Gupyeong Plant gathered together with a shared commitment to prevent further accidents and to create a safe and comfortable working environment.

The event began with an address by Dong-Joon Lee, Executive Director and Head of the Gupyeong Plant, followed by a reading of the safety pledge by Jong-Won Pyo, Head of the Production Management Team. All participants then collectively recited the pledge and signed the safety commitment document, reinforcing their determination to prioritize workplace safety.

During the rally, Vice Chairman Doo-Sun Park emphasized the importance of actively looking out for one another’s safety through proactive safety intervention and awareness. He stressed that if a hazardous situation arises, employees should immediately stop work, report the issue to their supervisors, and resume operations only after appropriate safety measures have been taken. He also highlighted that everyone—including production managers and supervisors—must take on the responsibility of becoming part of the company’s HSE culture.

He concluded by urging employees to openly point out and share safety concerns whenever they observe potential risks in the workplace.

In addition, Vice Chairman Park presented Executive Director Lee with sling belt protectors, safety equipment designed to prevent damage to sling belts and reduce the risk of heavy-load drop accidents. Thermal underwear was also provided to help prevent cold-related illnesses during the winter season, with a request to continue building a safe and healthy workplace.

The rally concluded with a collective safety awareness chant. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to safety by calling out key safety reminders together.

On the same day, the Gimhae Plant also held its own Safety Resolution Rally, where employees participated in the safety pledge, signed the safety commitment document, and recited safety awareness chants, joining the company-wide effort to build a safer workplace.
