On October 16, 23, and 30, SUNBO INDUSTRIES and SUNBO UNITECH held morning lectures at their respective training centers, covering key topics aimed at equipping employees with industry insights and ethical awareness.
The October lectures featured two main themes: “The Future of the Shipbuilding Industry and Our Response”, delivered by Seonbo Hightech CEO Kim Sang-do, and “Corporate and Professional Ethics”, presented by Kim Hee-jung from the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
CEO Kim Sang-do focused on the current trends in the shipbuilding sector, key insights into the shipbuilding equipment industry, and Seonbo’s strategic responses. He highlighted the critical importance of technological development and enhanced product quality to maintain competitive strength.
In the session on corporate and professional ethics, participants engaged in an interactive activity involving illustrated cards representing various scenarios and symbolic meanings. Employees selected cards reflecting their views on the company’s significance, their ideal vision of the workplace, and the goals they aimed to achieve.
Through these sessions, SUNBO Family members gained a deeper understanding of the current state of the shipbuilding industry and its challenges. Additionally, they explored the multifaceted nature of corporate ethics, aligning their takeaways with ESG principles and how ethical conduct can drive long-term organizational success.
