On October 29, the second-half SUNBO Blood Donation Day event was held at the respective plants of SUNBO INDUSTRIES and SUNBO UNITECH. The event was organized to help stabilize the regional blood supply ahead of the winter season and to demonstrate SUNBO’s commitment to ESG management. The group blood donation was conducted in two sessions—morning and afternoon—with a total of 34 participants, including 23 employees from Seonbo Industrial and 11 from SUNBO UNITECH, contributing warmth and care to the local community.
SUNBO INDUSTRIES has been recognized for its continuous community outreach and its efforts in spreading a culture of sharing, receiving the Top Honor in the Sharing Category at the Busan Social Contribution Awards in September. SUNBO Family Chairman Choi Keum-sik’s role as Chairman of the Busan Community Chest of Korea from 2021 until this summer further invigorated the company’s volunteerism and culture of giving.
The company encouraged employees to continue donating blood individually as well and expressed its gratitude by providing a 20,000 KRW cultural gift voucher to each participant in the group blood donation.
