Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd has successfully delivered 11J(230TON) and 31J(281TON) to the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. (DSME) shipyard in Okpo, South Korea on Oct 7 2014. They are the biggest size among 9 blocks of a topside pipe rack to manufacture for Petronas company which is Malaysian government enterprise.
The both blocks 11J(230TON) and 31J(281TON) were arrived at DSME and they would be assembled to a topside of Petronas FLNG(Floating LNG). Also the remainder of 7 blocks has been planned to be delivered until September 2014.
Sunbo Unitech Co. Ltd. finished to have launching ceremony for the Petronas FLNG in April 2016, and the vessel measures 365 m (1,198 ft) in length, 60 m (197 ft) in width, and 33 m (108 ft) in height. It is defined as a supersized gas production facility. The weight of the upper structure is already 40,000 tons, and this block was planned to be assembled according to a production planning in Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd and would be ready to be shipped for a delivery in Sep 2015.
This FLNG would be run in the Pacific Northwest where near the Kanwot gas field in the Pacific Northwest, in order to produce LNG gas. This facility has a processing capacity of 1.2 million metric tons of LNG per year and it is expected for Sunbo Unitech Co,Ltd. would have a title as the first company in the world which manufacture this facility in actual once this facility is properly working to produce LNG.
Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd(Gupyong 1st factory) is available to produce this kind of a big sized facility because of its size of the workplace, the facility and the pier so we use the place of business for making units those are 1,000 tons in weight.
Sunbo Unitech company’s employyes went through so many ups and downs before the first delivery since there had some confusion with the date of delivery and a difficulty to received materials for the structure because the design of a main frame was changed so many times.
However, Sunbo Unitech Co, Ltd started the construction for “Rush Work” as of Sep 1 2014 after getting a fixed delivery date in October so that we could successfully deliver the 11J and 31J without any problems. That was a result of that our 130 employees had worked night and day for Petronas Project.
Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd. could stamp our company’s name and productivity on our prospective clients owing to our successful delivery of the block for Petronas Project. Therefore, Sunbo Unitech Co., Ltd gained a foothold to produce items such as a floating LNG facility for offshore projects compared to other competitors.
