On February 17th, Mr. Choi was elected as a New Chairman of the Busan Shipbuilding & Marine Equipment Industry Cooperative (hereinafter referred to as the Association).
In an interview with the Busan Daily, he said, "The shipbuilding equipment and materials business capability is the competitiveness of the shipbuilding industry". He also pointed out that the "creating a logistics complex for shipbuilding equipment and materials" that can be used together by the industry as the starting point for strengthening the competitiveness of shipbuilding equipment and materials companies as the first goal within the four-year term.
"We have been in the industry for a long time and realized that large shipbuilding companies and equipment manufacturers should be united and find a "win-win solution", he said.
