In order to commercialize green hydrogen technology, which is the core of decarbonization, SUNBO Unitech Co., Ltd. (engineering solution) and Elchemtech (PEM-hydrogen furnace cell stack core technology) jointly participated in the exhibition. Jin Byung-seok, head of SUNBO Unitech Co., Ltd.'s research institute, who will lead the affiliated research institute, a key department in green energy research and development, said, "SUNBO Unitech Co., Ltd. is conducting engineering commercialization research using Elchemtech's stack. We are currently producing a single 1MW stack, but we plan to develop 3MW products by 2023," he said.
SUNBO Unitech Co., Ltd.-Elchemtech booth was visited by affiliated organizations, including the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, large companies such as Hyundai, POSCO, Kolon Global and LG Chem, and global leaders. There were a series of questions and delivery inquiries about the size and efficiency of a single stack, and there were many inquiries about the demonstration of water electrolysis systems linked to solar and hydroelectric power generation, realizing companies' interest in green energy.
SUNBO Unitech Co., Ltd. plans to accelerate global projects such as Europe, Canada, and Australia by collaborating with hydrogen value chains Elchemtech (Green Hydrogen), FES (Perovskite Solar Cell), WRS (Waste Gasification Project), and Carbon Value (Carbon Collection), which have shared technology through open innovation.
