The "First Half of 2022 Business Performance Presentation" was held at the Noksan Education and Training Center of the Busan Human Resources Development Institute on July 14th to establish quick measures and survival strategies through the current status and analysis  of each department.

 

As social distancing caused by COVID-19 eased during the period, business plans and performance reports of four corporations (Sunbo Industries Co.,Ltd., Sunbo Unitech Co.,Ltd., Sunbo Hitech Co.,Ltd., and Sunbo Peace Co.,Ltd.) were conducted in one place. The report schedule, which began with 91 executives and employees who were responsible for each corporation, lasted about eight hours from 10 a.m., starting with the introduction of Saga and the opening speech of Chairman Choi Geum-sik.

 

As the first schedule, a team-specific announcement of the mid- to long-term strategy "LET'S GO 2025 Strategy" to create eco-friendly technology value  for the shipbuilding industry was prepared. In this announcement, the four major strategic goals, △ new luxury module gap △ accelerated growth of eco-friendly LNG fuel supply unit FGSS (Fuel Gas Supply System) △ technology commercialization new growth engine △ value-sharing sustainable management, were reported. Subsequently, the first part of the order was completed after reporting to the sales division, including the current status of the environmental and safety and health of the HSE team.

 

After lunch and commemorative shooting, the company continued to announce seven factory sectors, design sectors (shipment and plant), quality sectors, material procurement, management support, and management planning, starting with analysis of shipbuilding market conditions and cost reduction reports. The presentation, which lasted until 6 p.m., ended with a strong review and slogan by Chairman Choi Geum-sik and CEO Kim Sang-do and Kim Chung-wook.

 

Chairman Choi Geum-sik stressed the need for thorough self-development to cultivate professionalism and change the atmosphere of the company to resolve barriers between departments. CEO Kim Sang-do called for a review so that the timely material warehousing rate can be felt in production. It also urged to calmly judge the crisis situation of the parent company and its partners and resolve it together, and to make efforts to ensure that individual performance is linked to the achievement of company-wide performance. CEO Kim Chung-wook stressed the need for large-scale reorganization, including reorganization of the business performance reporting process and innovation in the computer and ERP sectors in realizing and utilizing the smart factory system.
